Summer Assignment
This assignment is meant as a warm-up exercise of analyzation, being used to answer a question. Your directions are to read the following articles covering some of the mini-states still in existence in Europe. Then answer the following question:
In Europe today, there are several nations in existence which many have never heard of. Such small nations as Liechtenstein, San Marino, Andorra, Vatican City and Montenegro are small, but viable players in present day Europe. Many of these have very colorful and rich histories which appear bigger and bolder than their current landmasses. After reading the articles assigned, in a 2-3 page Double Spaced, 12 point font paper, Analyze the future of Europe’s mini-states. Discuss how their standing in the world affects their current economy, as well as how their standing in present day Europe affects their politics as well. Finally, how do each of these countries plan(if anything) to confront many of the challenges of the future in terms of growth, prosperity, and their individual independence of the European Union.
